While there is still a lot of room for improvement, the North Carolina hip hop scene is winning. Actually, one of the biggest rappers in the game, period, in J. Cole, is from Fayetteville. Back in December, J. Cole surprised the game with 2014 Forest Hills Drive, his third album.
J. Cole is on the verge of scoring a platinum album, something few hip hop artists now accomplish. Currently, the game is focused on Drake and his surprise album. But, J. Cole is keeping the friendly competition going with his latest move.
This afternoon, J. Cole revealed he would soon be going out on tour. He is on the Forest Hills Drive tour, starting in March. The tour kicks off on March 2 in Eugene, Oregon and the tour ends, a month later, in Providence, Rhode Island on April 7.
