The hip hop scene, here in Charlotte, is growing and there are a few people to pay attention to. At the top of the list of people to look out for is Bettie Grind and he’s a veteran out here. His mixtapes have kept the streets hot for the past few years.
Last year, Hip Hop Vibe talked to Bettie Grind during CIAA Weekend about his movement. Since he is one of the biggest rappers from Charlotte, many look up to Bettie Grind and follow him. This is something he told us that truly humbled him.
Bettie Grind continues to put on for Charlotte and will be doing so in a big way in a few weeks. During CIAA weekend, all of the biggest names in hip hop come to Charlotte, including the likes of Diddy, among others. This year, Bettie Grind will be hosting an event at Label in Charlotte where Diddy will be, and he’s co-hosting with Kenny Burns on February 28.
