In spite of everything, right now it seems like Birdman is on the brink of losing everything. Just a year ago, Birdman appeared to be on the verge of taking things to the next level. With Cash Money Records, Birdman managed to do what the likes of Jay-Z and others couldn’t.
Cash Money Records grew to also be home to other labels. Among them were the Young Money and We The Best labels. But, Lil Wayne expressed frustration in Birdman and wants to leave Young Money. Meanwhile, it looks like DJ Khaled is distancing himself from Birdman, too.
Nicki Minaj is the biggest artist on Cash Money Records, but she is signed via Young Money, meaning Lil Wayne intends to leave with her. Last night, Nicki Minaj held a pre-Grammy party, which Birdman hoped to attend. But, when Birdman tried to enter the show, fifteen minutes before it was intended to end, he was denied entry, repeatedly.
