Anyone who listens to Nas and knows his discography know how he feels about the community. By community, most should know what this means, and he is living this dream out. Not only is Nas a revered hip hop artist, he is a businessman in the community, owning Mass Appeal magazine.
But, Nas had goals of seeing the people of the community do more than just hip hop. His wish has come true some twenty years after Nas first entered the game. Leave it to his own family to be pushing these goals forward.
Young actress, Yara Shahidi, is actually Nas’ younger second cousin. Most may know her from being on ABC’s “Black-ish,” but she has had several movie roles and played in a few other sitcoms. But, she is up for an NAACP Image Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and Nas could not be more proud, as he congratulated her on his Instagram.
