Over the past couple of years, Kid Ink has been an emerging artist on the Los Angeles hip hop scene. This period of time has seen him deliver a couple of big singles with Chris Brown. More recently, Kid Ink scored another big hit with Usher and Tinashe.
The phrase “New West” has been laid to rest, as many of these artists have broken through. Among these artists who have broken through is Kid Ink, who signed with RCA and now has two albums out. With the new album out, Kid Ink is doing his media rounds.
Yesi Ortiz recently had Kid Ink over at Power 106 and he talked about his new album. Yesterday, Kid Ink dropped Full Speed, which is his official sophomore album. In the interview, Kid Ink talked to Yesi Ortiz about his collaboration with Dej Loaf and his relationship with DJ Mustard, which greatly helped the creation of the Full Speed album.
