Last year, Chris Brown enjoyed a strong comeback year and was absolutely the biggest name in R&B. Finally, Chris Brown released X, his sixth studio album. The new album was pushed by “Loyal,” which featured at least Lil Wayne on all versions.
Chris Brown talked to Hip Hop Vibe during the week of the X album release. During this time, “New Flame,” featuring Usher and Rick Ross, was just beginning to take off. The song has since become one of the biggest hits of the fall season.
Recently, Chris Brown did a performance in San Jose and things did not turn out as expected. During the show, a gunman opened fire and five people were shot, however, this was not connected to Chris Brown or anyone in his camp. Also, no one from Chris Brown’s entourage was wounded in this fiasco.
