Following the Jackson 5 run, New Edition emerged and they owned the game during the 1980s. One of the members of the Boston group is Michael Bivins. While he has made his name through R&B, Michael Bivins has also run several successful businesses.
When New Edition signed with Bad Boy Records in 2004, Michael Bivins appeared on “Making The Band.” He acted as a road manager to Da Band when they were on the show. But, Michael Bivins has managed to stay out of the spotlight, in recent years.
Michael Bivins talked to Hip Hop Vibe, back in November, and he discussed his Sporty Rich movement. In a recent Instagram post, Michael Bivins talked more about Sporty Rich, revealing a clothing line was going along with the label. But, he went on to discuss a BellBivDeVoe reunion to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of Poison and he confirmed the New Edition TV mini series.
