Three years ago, Ace Hood featured Lil Wayne on the closing verse of his remix for “Hustle Hard.” It was here where Lil Wayne dropped his dope verse that explained his Miami life. But, it has been every week since then that Lil Wayne has lived it.
While Lil Wayne remains the highest-selling rap artist in the game, several other artists have emerged and become popular. Among the hip hop acts to emerge has been Migos, the Atlanta trio. These two have taken over the 2013-2014 period.
Lil Wayne has transitioned into veteran mode and he is actually preparing his own retirement, as Tha Carter V will be his final album when it is released. This opens the game up more for Migos, but they had a major moment at LIV last night. While he was at LIV, Lil Wayne took a photo with Migos and posted it on his Instagram.
