Two legends on the New York street hip hop scene are Mic Handz and Rockness Monstah. Not only is Mic Handz known for being nice on the mic, he also has a background in design. Meanwhile, Rockness Monstah is known for being a part of the Boot Camp Clik.
Rockness Monstah has appeared on three Boot Camp Clik albums and also three albums from Heltah Skeltah. Outside of some mixtapes, he hasn’t dropped much solo material. But, all of this is soon going to change, as early as 2015.
Hip Hop Vibe had the chance to talk to Rockness Monstah and Mic Handz at the Manual Music Conference, which Mic Handz put on. Rockness Monstah spoke on recording with Big Ape in Amsterdam and putting together Half A Man, Half A Monstah (an EP) and The Man, The Myth, The Monstah, due next year. Meanwhile, Mic Handz has an EP called Coming For Your Top Ten and a new album called The Artist Deception, also due next year.
