A group with very interesting history is New Edition, initially formed in Boston. After the group reached stardom (and infamy), Bobby Brown left the group and was essentially replaced by Johnny Gill. Before joining New Edition, Johnny Gill had an established history as a solo artist, child star.
New Edition is back in the headlines and Michael Bivins talked to Hip Hop Vibe about his new Sporty Rich movement at the 2014 Global Spin Awards. His group-mate, Johnny Gill, also has his own record company. Yesterday, Johnny Gill talked to “The Breakfast Club” about his new business interests.
Johnny Gill talked to Sway for Shade 45’s “Sway In The Morning” about New Edition and his history with the group. In the interview, Johnny Gill also talked about some of his dream collaborations. Joining the industry at a young age, Johnny Gill also discussed his life as a child star.
