Chris Rock talks “Top Five,” hip hop, tour with Dave Chappelle, and more with Hot 97 [VIDEO]

Chris Rock Hot 97Back in the day, Chris Rock was always one of the nicest comedians out, but he flew under the radar. All of this changed when “Everybody Hates Chris” became a cult classic during its run from 2005 through 2009. After the show ended and hit syndication, it became an even bigger smash.

Since “Everybody Hates Chris” premiered, Chris Rock has gone on to be a part of many major films. His latest effort is Top Five, which has him co-starring with everyone from reality show star, Karlie Redd, to Cedric The Entertainer. During the summer, Karlie Redd talked to Hip Hop Vibe about her role in the then-upcoming film.

Chris Rock did his New York City media rounds and stopped by Hot 97. Unfortunately, there was no Peter Rosenberg or Laura Stylez, so Ebro handled the interview solo. In the interview, Chris Rock discussed Top Five, his top five rappers in hip hop, Dave Chappelle, live shows, and much more.
