A lot of people counted Ludacris out, when it came to making new music. Early in his career, Ludacris became the first solo artist from Atlanta to have tremendous success on a mainstream level. But, he was soon followed by many other artists and he moved on, focusing on business ventures and acting.
Ludacris went on to put out seven albums during his original run. Although it’s overlooked, now, Ludacris was one of the artists who helped Nicki Minaj branch out and receive mainstream attention. However, Ludacris has been missing in action since 2010, outside of a few mixtapes.
Next year, Ludacris returns with Ludaversal, finally, but he has Burning Bridges, his EP, coming first. With Burning Bridges only a few days away from release, Ludacris decided to give fans a closer look. He has a song called “In My Life,” with John Legend, on the EP and he shared the studio session tonight.
