Review: Ca$h Out – “Kitchens & Choppas”

Kitchens & ChoppasCa$h Out is back on the streets with his latest mixtape Kitchens & Choppas. The Atlanta native came onto the scene in 2012, with his hit single “Cashin’ Out,” and later followed “Hold Up” featuring Wale. Now, he has the streets buzzing with his latest single “Let’s Get It,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Wiz Khalifa. Kitchens & Choppas is his latest work.

A 23 track compilation, Kitchens & Choppas features artists such as Snoop Dogg, Problem, Shawty Lo, and production from DJ Spinz, DJ Bobby Black and Inomek. Ca$h Out has continued on with the Atlanta sound of a booming bass and street knowledge on this project. He made sure to put together a tape very Atlanta-oriented.

The introduction of Kitchens & Choppas sets the tone for the rest of the mixtape, as Ca$h Out lets the listener know that it has been a crazy year for him and he is proud of his success. Kitchen & Choppas will remind listeners of how he is able to relate to the streets. This compilation is bound to play on many radio stations in the southeast.

The only downfall to Kitchens & Choppas is that it did not deliver the best lyrics or creativity because it consisted of many skits and average records despite features from Problem and Snoop Dogg.

Hip Hop Vibe’s Rating: 6/10
