Real hip hop heads already know what the deal is the minute they saw the photo. Back at it, the M.O.P. duo of Billy Danze and Lil Fame are getting ready to make it a very cold winter, so get those jackets ready. They have teamed up with DJ Premier for their new EP, which is called Street Certified.
Already, M.O.P. has a viral hit on their hands with “Broad Daylight,” featuring Busta Rhymes. This single has done well for them, as has their other record, “187,” which has also had viral success. For M.O.P., this is bigger than singles, this is their first project since 2011 and first full project since 2009’s Foundation.
With Street Certified, M.O.P. has nine new tracks and a New York-heavy lineup. Three guest appearances come on this new project, with Maino and Mobb Deep also appearing on the project. M.O.P. released the cover and the track listing for the project, which is due on November 19.
