Earlier this month, Tyga shocked fans when he expressed his displeasure with Young Money. Also, he expressed his desire to leave the label. Through it all, Tyga did seem distant from the other members of Young Money, but he always was close to Birdman. As he established his own company, Last Kings, Tyga received major support from Birdman.
In case some don’t know, Birdman is the co-CEO of Cash Money Records, the parent label for Young Money. Ever since Cash Money Records first blew up, in the late 1990s, Birdman went from just being the business end to being on the records. He has found his rhythm in two newcomers, Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug.
This morning, Birdman came with Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug to talk to Funkmaster Flex at Hot 97. While they came to discuss their new music, Birdman ended up being asked about Tyga. Being honest, Birdman laughed it off, as Tyga and Drake are going through it, and he said Tyga is being in his feelings.
