2 Chainz talks new album and taking it back with MTV News [VIDEO]

2 Chainz MTVOut of all the new generation Atlanta artists, 2 Chainz is the most-interesting one. His history with Ludacris and DTP is memorable. But, what’s impressive is 2 Chainz separating himself from this history and grinding from the bottom until he managed to break through and earned his own record deal.

Peaking, when his Coedine Cowboy mixtape and it went mainstream in 2011, 2 Chainz partnered with Def Jam. By 2012, 2 Chainz was working with G.O.O.D. Music and releasing his debut album. A year later, 2 Chainz followed it up with another album, and he dropped an EP this year.

During the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards, Hip Hop Vibe spoke to DJ E. Sudd, 2 Chainz’s tour DJ. But, during the Def Jam 30th Anniversary concert, MTV’s Rob Markman talked to 2 Chainz, himself. He revealed he has more music in the works and he’s taking it back to Tity Boi with this release.
