The Detroit hip hop scene received new life when Big Sean emerged. Before he gained fame, long before, Big Sean was signed to G.O.O.D. Music and releasing mixtapes. It took him a long time for him to release his debut album, but when he finally did, it was well worth it, as he dropped nothing but hits.

In the years since then, Big Sean released his sophomore album, Hall of Fame, an album that did not live up to expectations. But, Big Sean decided to return and make up for it by putting a new album together. He is currently having success with his “IDFWU,” featuring the legendary E-40.

Recently, Angie Martinez welcomed Big Sean to her show on Power 105.1. In the interview, she discussed with Big Sean the success of his “IDFWU” single. Big Sean also talked about his new situation with Roc Nation, G.O.O.D. Music, and his new album that is due earlier this year.
