Hardcore mixtape fans know the role Soulja Boy continues to play in the game. Given all his years behind the scenes, Soulja Boy is having a very strong year in 2014. He surprised many when he was cast to be on “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” on VH1 and he is playing a leading role.
Music and more business ventures were the focus Soulja Boy had coming into 2014 and he’s done his best to live up to the expectations. The Atlanta emcee has himself and his closest artists, AGoff and Paul Allen, with him in California. Dating back to last year, the three have done nothing but work.
Back in January, Soulja Boy was arrested after he was caught in possession with both a gun and marijuana. Following months of investigation, the Los Angeles Police Department has finally charged the young rapper, as TMZ states. Soulja Boy has picked up two misdemeanors for his law violations.
