Every Thursday, “The Breakfast Club” does a Throwback Thursday with an interview with an artist from the past. The 1990s was the period that birthed the golden era and tons of other good music. Among the artists to rise in the 1990s is Sisqo, who is best-known for his single, “Thong Song,” which made him a lifelong celebrity.

Before “Thong Song,” Sisqo was a member of Dru Hill and he was the lead singer of the group. They contended with many other groups from the 1990s/early 2000s, among them the popular Jagged Edge. Meanwhile, Sisqo ended up making his break on the solo scene and releasing two successful albums.

Sisqo is the latest Throwback Thursday artist to visit Power 105.1 to talk to Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy of “The Breakfast Club.” During the interview, Sisqo spoke on the “Thong Song” success and Dru Hill. He also spoke on the Jagged Edge fight and other rumors, along with much more.
