Out of all the current artists making up the hip hop community, Nicki Minaj seems to be the only one with true lasting power. Though Nicki Minaj is often debated over her looks and her body, she has the right type of personality to make it big big. On top of that, she has crossover appeal that few of her peers have.
Nicki Minaj was one of the lone bright spots following a disappointing MTV award show earlier this year. Her “Anaconda” performance got everyone in the building to pay attention to her and her movement. She did such a good job that MTV decided to finance Nicki Minaj a trip to Scotland.
Last night, Nicki Minaj teased that she had a major announcement on Instagram. This morning, she revealed she would be doing more than performing at the 2014 MTV European Music Awards. In addition to performing, Nicki Minaj will also be hosting the award show.
