Surprising news came when Wale decided to leave Roc Nation and then joined the management firm that LeBron James is a part of. He needed to make the move, as a new album is on the way. This time, Wale decided to team up with Jerry Seinfeld for his new album, The Album About Nothing.

Wale has led an interesting and creative path to his successful career. The album with Jerry Seinfeld has been years in the making, as Wale has always had an admiration for the iconic comedian. Early in his career, Wale teamed up with Mark Ronson and he signed his first deal with Interscope Records, before signing with Maybach Music.

Continuing his New York City press run, Wale stopped by Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club,” talking to Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy. In the interview, Wale talked about leaving Roc Nation and his relationship with Jay-Z. He went on to talk about The Album About Nothing returning him to his roots and Mark Ronson.
