Last year, Young Thug had breakout success with “Stoner.” The single became one of the first 2014 hits. Along with being introduced to a new brand of music, the hip hop world picked up on Young Thug’s eccentric personality. His Instagram showed just how different he was from typical rappers.
Young Thug often goes on Instagram and posts things most wouldn’t expect to come from a rapper. Once, Young Thug posted a photo of himself wearing a dress with his fingernails painted black. Often, he has referred to men as “my love, lover, or bae.” He even referred to Rich Homie Quan as his “hubbie.”
Worldstar Hip Hop was present on the red carpet at the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards and they ran across several stars. They got Young Thug while he was walking by and he explained some of his antics. Young Thug explained calling Rich Homie Quan “hubbie” and his other Instagram styles as something “only pimps would understand.”
