Three years have passed since Mary J. Blige had a new album. Back, Mary J. Blige has a completely different sound, working with Disclosure and Sam Smith. These guys did a fantastic job with their single, “Latch,” and now they are helping Mary J. Blige with her new sound.
Mary J. Blige is preparing to unleash this new sound with The London Sessions, which means exactly what it says. The album comes after Mary J. Blige did a commercial for fast food giant, Burger King, which many found offensive. In the end, the commercial was pulled and Mary J. Blige received a lot of flack.
Recently, Mary J. Blige was at Power 105.1, meeting K. Michelle, and visited “The Breakfast Club.” She discussed the new album, The London Sessions, working with Disclosure and Sam Smith. Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy also talked about the commercial, Bobby Shmurda, Jay-Z, and Mary J.’s passion for music.
