Success has been mixed for Ray J, who was initially a child star, appearing in the short-lived sitcom, “Sinbad.” Music-wise, Ray J had a debut in 1997, but spent most of his early career living in the shadow of his big sister, Brandy. All of this changed after “Moesha” ended and Ray J teamed up with Pharrell, spawning “Wait A Minute” with Lil’ Kim.
Ray J never fully took over the R&B game, but the man has made some hits over the years that go down in history. In 2005, Ray J returned with “One Wish” and it coincided with him starring on the final season of UPN’s “One on One.” Finally, in 2008, Ray J teamed up with Yung Berg for “Sexy Can I,” before beginning his run with VH1.
Back in the saddle with VH1, Ray J is a major cast member in “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” and his love life is front and center. Ray J’s ex is Teairra Mari and his current girlfriend is Princess Love, Floyd Mayweather’s ex.
