Fredo Santana is taking a break from rap to focus more on acting [PHOTO]

Fredo Santana 7In 2012, Fredo Santana received a major shoutout that helped him launch his career. At the time, Chief Keef had breakout success with “I Don’t Like,” featuring Lil Reese. The final verse, performed by Lil Reese, included the line “Fredo in the cut, now that’s a scary sight,” which allowed Fredo Santana to launch a mixtape of the same name.

Fredo Santana saw his popularity skyrocket during the 2013 period and he became just as big of a star as Chief Keef and Lil Reese. He used this to his advantage, launching his own record label, Savage Squad Records. But, Fredo Santana may not be giving his full focus to the record label.

Recently, Fredo Santana took to his Twitter to reveal his focus is more Hollywood and less hip hop-oriented. Hip hop will always be his roots and he deserves his props for helping establish drill music, for better or for worse. But, Fredo Santana is expanding his horizions and doing one more project before focusing on getting acting roles.
