Being active on the scene in New Jersey led to a chance run in with Mike Zombie and so much more built from it. During a recent show in New Jersey, both the promoters and Mike Zombie granted Hip Hop Vibe full access. The video shows Mike Zombie performing his “616” single and the crowd loved it.
Mike Zombie rose to fame early in 2013, when he produced “Started From The Bottom,” the hit Drake single. Drake has since moved on to release plenty of other hits. On the other hand, Mike Zombie has continued to produce, but much of his focus has now shifted to his work as an emcee.
Peter Rosenberg, who also talked to Hip Hop Vibe this summer, recently had Mike Zombie come to his “Real Late” show on Hot 97. Saying it had been a while since he featured a rising local talent, Peter Rosenberg took time out for Mike Zombie. Together, they spoke on his hometown here in New Jersey, “Started From The Bottom,” Hollow Da Don, and more.
