People always debate what’s going to happen to the hottest emcee, but nothing can take away from the fact that an emcee is hot. Ever since 2009, it’s been Drake and that’s the reason he’s Young Money’s focal point. Not even a year removed from his last album, Drake is already working on his next album.
Truth be told, Drake is similar to Ja Rule in his prime with both music style and with his consistency. But, the comparisons end there, because times are much too different to properly compare. Given the landscape of the industry, Drake will never sell like Ja Rule did and 2001 Ja Rule’s success didn’t warrant a shoe deal like 2013 Drake did.
Currently, production has stopped on Air Jordan 3, but Drake still managed to get his sneaker out. The Toronto emcee previewed the gold shoe at his hometown during the OVO Fest, but now fans are getting a better look. A photo was obtained of the shoe, yesterday, and it’s circulating the internet.
