Since his 2011 debut, Big Sean has remained a popular fixture in the game. He has a successful stream of hits under his belt and now he has a deal in place to help him reach even bigger heights. G.O.O.D. Music has been his label home from the beginning, but Big Sean has now branched out and signed a deal with Roc Nation.
Jay-Z’s company has done well for J. Cole, who is signed to the record label, and also to such names as Rihanna and Wale, who were signed to management. Wale recently left for another management firm and Rihanna joined the label. An emptying management roster made for an ideal situation for Big Sean to join, perhaps.
Deal or no deal, Big Sean is getting back into the studio with hopes of closing the year of 2014 in strong fashion. Upon signing with Roc Nation, Big Sean immediately delivered four new tracks. This morning, Big Sean put a video on his Instagram of him rapping to one of his new songs, just recorded, in the studio.
