Wale leaves Roc Nation’s management label

Wale 30This year has seen plenty of hip hop changes and alliances shift. Among these changes was Meek Mill calling Wale out for not helping him promote his album and hating on him. Immediately, Wale denied this and as soon as he showed support, a probation violation sent Meek Mill back to prison.

Despite Rick Ross’ constant promotion, it’s all but clear to the fans that something is going down at Maybach Music. Exactly what is going down is unclear, but Self Made 4 has not even gotten a mention, so far. Back in 2011, Rick Ross said a Self Made album would come every year.

Now, Wale is ending his time under Jay-Z over at Roc Nation, where he was signed to the management company. His manager, Rich Kleiman, has shifted his focus to the sports management side of the company, according to XXL. Meanwhile, Wale has signed with 77 North Management.
