In the past, there have been misconceptions about Young Dolph being actually signed to 1017 Records. But, Young Dolph made it clear he was not Gucci Mane’s artist, but the timing seemed a little off. However, Young Dolph is a major supporter of the crew and is often making appearances.
Young Dolph definitely helped increase 1017’s exposure in Memphis and he continues to make this happen. Establishing himself as a mixtape star, years ago, similar to Gucci, Young Dolph is having breakout success. He recently returned with his latest mixtape and it gained him mainstream exposure.
Recently, Vlad TV talked to Young Dolph and he spoke on his status with 1017 with them being his partners (partners as in friends, no business). But, Young Dolph spoke on the Gucci Mane situation and also something he believes. He believes a collaboration with Gucci and Jeezy would be a hard track.
