Back in the day, Fat Joe took over the game with “Lean Back” and it wasn’t even his record. Instead, “Lean Back” was the first single off Terror Squad’s first album, True Story, which dropped in 2004. The “Lean Back” single featured a verse from Remy Ma that helped launch her solo career.
In 2006, Remy Ma released her debut album, There’s Something About Remy, which did well. However, after this success, Remy Ma and Fat Joe began having disagreements. This led to them severing ties and things got worse when Remy Ma was brought up on charges and then sent to prison.
