From the moment Drake emerged in the game, 50 Cent has stated how much of a fan of his he is. This comes in spite of Drake being signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money and working closely with Rick Ross. When asked why he gives Drake the co-sign, but gave Ja Rule flack, 50 Cent said it is because of his roots in the game.

While 50 Cent and Drake have expressed mutual respect for each others’ music, they have not had the chance to collaborate. Much of this has come from Drake often working with many other artists. Meanwhile, 50 Cent recently was able to release his first album in five years.

However, according to Konvict Muzik’s A&R, D-Teck, Drake and 50 Cent have finally gotten a chance to work together. Many are interested in seeing how a collaboration would come together between the two. D-Teck says this is one song that the streets are going to embrace.
