R. Kelly talks transgender daughter with WGCI’s “The Morning Riot” [VIDEO]

R. Kelly WGCIA person never knows where life is going to take them until it takes them there and it can change at a moment’s notice. Any person reaching for their highest possible goals can attest to this. Often, R. Kelly speaks of this in his music, as he is not afraid to go personal.

Recently, the personal stuff hit home for R. Kelly, when his thirteen year old daughter, Jaya Kelly, revealed she is a “transguy.” Later, she went into deeper detail about her life and said she wanted to have an operation. The story went viral and it was something WGCI had questions about.

R. Kelly held his city of Chicago down by performing at 107.5’s Summer Jam 2014 and “The Morning Riot” talked to him afterwards. They got right to it and asked him about his daughter. Jumping right into it, R. Kelly said he loves his child no matter what decision she makes and that goes for all of his children.
