All the independent artists who have no direction on how to make it could always look at Yo Gotti and follow his trend. Yo Gotti showed them how to grind and not need a major label. Similar to Jay-Z, Yo Gotti signed the record label and not the other way around.
Last year, Yo Gotti dominated the game with I Am, which was only his second major label album. This came on the heels of countless mixtapes and street albums, which produced tours that kept him buzzing. Now, Yo Gotti has decided to jump right back in with another new album.
From what Yo Gotti said when he interviewed with MTV News, he decided on stage to record a new album. The decision was made for Yo Gotti to drop this album in the fourth quarter of 2014. Yo Gotti names this album The Art of the Hustle and said it is something Epic Records is waiting on.
