Although it gets often overlooked, the DMV area has played a factor in the game for a long time. They have produced many of the biggest stars in the game and many of the most-talented producers. Among those talents is The Clipse, which is the brotherly duo of Pusha T and (No) Malice.
Pusha T is fresh off the release of his My Name is My Name debut album, which solidified his sound. Known for his drug dealer raps and his love for 1990s hip hop, he mixed both with his debut album. Now, Pusha T is working on his sophomore album, King Push.
HipHopDX.com recently caught up with Pusha T and he spoke on how he goes about creating his music. In the interview, Pusha T talked about his unique sound and also his fellow DMV talents. Pusha T has been closely supported and backed by Timbaland and Pharrell.
