Recently, Steve Aoki saw his name receive a lot of press, when he collaborated with Waka Flocka Flame for “Rage The Night Away.” This song immediately took off, but it isn’t the first time Steve Aoki collaborated with rappers. Previously, he worked with the likes of Kid Cudi and Lil Jon.
For his Neon Future album, which is coming in August, Steve Aoki is working with such names as Kid Ink, Machine Gun Kelly, will.i.am, and others. The album is one of two and Steve Aoki has big plans to promote the new music. Since he returned to the music scene, Steve Aoki received a lot of attention.
Steve Aoki took the time out to speak to Hip Hop Vibe’s own DJ Louie Styles about the Neon Future album. He also discussed the “Rage The Night Away” collaboration with Waka Flocka Flame and their chemistry. There was also talk about his previous albums and the second part of Neon Future.
