A big representative of the Carolinas on a daily basis in hip hop media is Charlamagne Tha God. His hilarious delivery has made him the breakout star of “The Breakfast Club” trio of Power 105.1. He took this role and landed spots on MTV and Revolt TV, among other networks.
Charlamagne Tha God is a big presence in this new era of media, building upon the legacy of the likes of Oprah. She took her presence and went from syndication to a lucrative deal with ABC, to her own network. Anyone who wants to host would definitely look to her as inspiration.
This week, Charlamagne Tha God received a t-shirt he had been waiting for for a good bit of time. The shirt has Oprah Winfrey’s face on the front of it and this is Charlamagne’s way of paying homage to her. 1991 Inc. is the clothing company responsible for the shirt.
