Not since the old school era of music has there been someone with an ear for music like the one Pharrell has. Last year, Pharrell crafted “Blurred Lines” for Robin Thicke and he released “Happy” last summer. For some reason, the song went virtually overlooked for all of 2013 until this past fall.
“Happy” is now fast becoming the biggest hit of the summer of 2014 and Pharrell is just happy people are taking to the song. Currently, the world is doom and gloom with so many tragedies hitting the world at all times. It’s good that somebody is happy and chose to share it with the world.
Pharrell talked to Oprah Winfrey about this on “Oprah Prime” and he talked about how the “Happy” single came together. When looking at all the people who made their own videos to “Happy,” Pharrell became overjoyed, himself. He ended up breaking down and crying his own tears of joy because of the lives he touched.
