This current era of urban entertainment is retro, as a lot of older elements have returned with prominence. Who would’ve thought, a year and a half ago, that Puff Daddy would be back and doing records with French Montana? Now, BET is bringing back “Comic View.”
The original version of “Comic View” brought about countless talents in the industry, who are still making their impact. Sommore owes her initial big break to her time on “Comic View,” bringing prominence to her career. Bringing back familiar faces, Sommore was cast as the host for the new “Comic View.”
Sommore is definitely excited to be a part of this revitalized “Comic View” series, which she feels will have a cultural impact on the game. She noted how much BET has grown over the years, going from being an independently-owned company to being a major part of Viacom.
