Young Chop is largely responsible for plenty of Chicago drill artists emerging to stardom over the past two years. It was Young Chop who provided the beat for the Chief Keef hit single, “I Don’t Like,” and he has continued building. Since this period, Young Chop has become one of the game’s biggest producers.

Since he made it in such a short period of time, Young Chop holds the 2012 run special to his heart. Just like anyone who is on their grind and who reaches their goals, Young Chop loves to reflect on the trip to the top. Recently, he had the chance to reflect on his success.

DJ Moondawg recently had the chance to talk to Young Chop at WGCI and they looked back on how they got to the top. When looking back on their run, Young Chop began going in on New York radio and Hot 97. Most of his anger was directed at K. Foxx, but he also talked about Chief Keef’s breakthrough mixtape, Back From The Dead, and the potential sequel.
