This current stage in hip hop has come as the game has gone through a lot of changes. The R&B element of hip hop has made a pretty strong return and social media always plays a part. Right now, Twitter and Instagram are the places to be in order to get exposed.
Mike Jay is among the R&B stars who have emerged over the past few years. His new single, “Real Strippers,” has taken over the internet and Mike Jay has even landed a deal with Capitol Records. Late last year, Mike Jay spoke to Hip Hop Vibe about his plans for this year.
So much has happened this year, with Puff Daddy reverting to his original name and he is back better than ever. Puff Daddy always has had a great ear for talent and he shouted Mike Jay out on Twitter, recently. When Puff Daddy tweeted Mike Jay, he crowned him the “Prince of R&B,” something that the Los Angeles singer is definitely proud of.
