Last year, August Alsina released his single, “I Luv This Sh*t” featuring Trinidad James, and it became a major hit. The single has propelled August Alsina to new heights and the Def Jam star is preparing his debut album. In less than two weeks, he will release Testimony, his debut album.
Testimony comes following August Alsina relocating from his home in New Orleans to Atlanta to focus on music. This has allowed August Alsina the chance to work with Jody Breeze and Rich Homie Quan, among others. Since then, he has been integrated into the Atlanta scene.
August Alsina is blowing up right now and he recently stopped by “The Arsenio Hall Show.” He’s come a long way in the past years to now have a deal with Def Jam and August Alsina explained how he came this far. At one point, August Alsina was homeless and he explained how he managed to keep going.
