Few hip hop artists go through as much back-and-forth with fans as Wale does, as he responds to a lot of negative messages. This morning, a Twitter hoax said Wale had been run over in a hit-and-run. The photo showed a garbage can knocked over and the story got a lot of attention on Twitter.
It turns out, the day was just getting started for Wale, who was preparing for a WWE event later that night. The WWE is holding Monday Night Raw in Washington, DC, which is Wale’s city, so he came through. But, a fan decided he would take some of his frustrations out on Wale.
After Wale entered the event, a fan tweeted and dissed the MMG rapper for walking past him. He immediately threatened Wale and continued to taunt him until he got a response. Wale later asked via Twitter where the person was and they reportedly linked up, which led to Wale punching the fan in the face.
