Yesterday, there was another nightclub shooting while Diddy was present, but again he had nothing to do with it. A release party was held in the Velvet Room for the release of Rick Ross’ Mastermind album. His album was released a day ahead of schedule, yesterday, but the retail release is today.
What was intended to be a celebration ended up going downhill fast. Two security guards for the Velvet Room were off-duty cops working an extra job and they heard gunshots at the back of the club. These shots were being fired by Ronald Robinson, who DJ-ed the event.
Once they approached the 39-year-old Ronald Robinson, the police officers said he opened fire on them. They managed to shoot him in his leg, but he jumped up and re-entered the club, where officers found and arrested him.
