Back in 2012, Mobb Deep entered a dark phase and it left people wondering if they would continue as a duo. But, brotherhood prevailed over BS and Mobb Deep is back and stronger than ever. It’s been eight years since Mobb Deep dropped Blood Money on G-Unit Records and they have done mixtapes since then.

Both Prodigy and Havoc have dropped solo projects in recent years and they have some due this year. However, April is when Mobb Deep will be reuniting to release their new album, The Infamous Mobb Deep. As this is their first album in eight years, there is a lot of anticipation for the new project.

This morning, Mobb Deep presented the cover for their album with Billboard. The new album is much like the new project Nas has in store for this year, it is released in celebration of the twentieth anniversary of their debut album, The Infamous. Mobb Deep is delivering a super deluxe package with the original album and a documentary produced by Red Bull.
