Coming up alongside Fat Joe during the 2006-2007 period, DJ Khaled was immediately an enemy of 50 Cent and G-Unit. Early on, DJ Khaled worked with Jadakiss and Ja Rule, while rising with Rick Ross. The stage was set for a beef between the two camps. However, DJ Khaled kept saying he was about unity.
In fact, Young Buck taunted this during an episode of “Rap City” he and 50 Cent appeared on. But, times changed. Young Buck became a more vocal opponent of 50 Cent than Khaled ever was. All of this has been years ago. Former 50 enemies, Jadakiss and Fat Joe, both have songs with 50 Cent now.
Ja Rule had a civil interaction with 50 Cent and even Game wants to reunite with G-Unit, as does Young Buck. The only holdover is Rick Ross and, according to an Instagram post from the Bankroll Barbies, this too is expected to end. A group of models, the Bankroll Barbies revealed they were on set for a video of a song with Rick Ross, 50 Cent, and DJ Khaled in New Orleans.
