Witnessing K. Michelle transcend from mixtape star to reality TV star to international sensation has been beautiful. Most first saw K. Michelle two years ago, when she began starring in VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.” But, K. Michelle rose to new heights when her music was given a shot.
Following the first season of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” K. Michelle signed a record deal with Warner Bros. Records. In 2013, Warner’s roster was moved to Atlantic Records, where K. Michelle dropped Rebellious Soul. Her debut album performed well and K. Michelle is now giving fans a winter holdover.
K. Michelle released the cover for her Still No Fucks Given mixtape on Instagram yesterday. Reuniting with DJ Sense for the mixtape, K. Michelle is going back to her roots on this new project. The project is scheduled to be released at the end of the week on Valentine’s Day and, in the meantime, she has the “Can’t Raise A Man” music video performing well online.
