During the 2005-2007 period, Trill Entertainment solidified their position in the game and Lil’ Boosie made his debut late in 2006. Fans stuck with Lil’ Boosie and he soon became one of the leaders on the mixtape circuit. By 2008, Lil’ Boosie had a major hit on his hands with Webbie’s “Independent,” which he featured on.

At the height of his career, Lil’ Boosie’s legal situations caught up with him and he’s been in prison since 2009. In these four years, Lil’ Boosie has had plenty of hip hop company, with Young Buck, T.I., Gucci Mane, Ja Rule, and B.G. going back and forth to prison. Fans have awaited Boosie’s release.

Recently, there has been a lot of chatter about when Lil’ Boosie will be released from prison. Most speculation says Lil’ Boosie will be out of prison in time for Valentine’s Day, on February 13. Now, Bun B took to his Twitter to confirm Lil’ Boosie will officially be released from prison right when rumors suggested, on February 13.
