It’s hard to look at what the Coke Boys are doing and not get motivated. Back in 2011, French Montana proved New York was not over and he released a consistent flow of music over the whole year. French Montana closed 2011 with announcing his deal with Bad Boy Records and Chinx moved into his lane.
Chinx’s come-up was somewhat fast, as his “I’m a Coke Boy” single did pretty well in the streets. His remix featured Diddy and Rick Ross, further solidifying Chinx as a problem in the game. The year of 2013 saw Chinx appear everywhere and then his own signing seemed like it was coming up.
Last night, French Montana may have confirmed Chinx signing a deal, but the man himself is staying mum. Recently, Chinx appeared on Hot 97 with Angie Martinez and DJ Cipha Sounds and he talked about how life has changed. Chinx said he’s been out of the hood for almost six months and that he has indeed signed a deal.
