The hip hop community, as a whole, is still reeling from the death of Doe B, who was shot and killed in his hometown of Montgomery. His death was one of many other rappers to close out 2013 and open 2014. These shootings would lead many to believe people are trying to tone down on the violence.
In Alabama, emotions are still running high and people are still mourning Doe B and also the other victim. Kimberle Johnson had just turned twenty-one and was celebrating her birthday when she also died. The suspects in the Doe B shooting have turned themselves in.
Now, another club in Alabama has gotten shot up, leaving four injured and one dead. This shooting took place in Huntsville, Alabama and the location was over at Bench Warmers. The shooting was caught on tape and the video is being shared on the internet, showing the ongoing violence in the hip hop community.
